Why do people think that the Israeli government has some secret power that they can use at any time magically bring the hostages home? Hamas will never release all of the hostages even if you gave them everything they wanted. Why continue to put pressure on Israel? And what do you expect them to do exactly? I’m sick of people making this statement…as if we are at fault of keeping the hostages in Gaza and we have the power to have them released at any time. It is INSANE!

The israeli government do not hold the hostages and cannot free them! Hamas or Palestinian Jihad will never release all the hostages, even if Israel left Gaza and retreated completely. They know that once they do that, then the IDF can re-enter Gaza and hunt them down until the last one. They will never release the only leverage they have that is ensuring their own survival. More people need to stop being this fking stupid and understand this reality. “Ending the war” doesn’t bring back the hostages. All it does is ensure that there will be more hostages in the future.
