He was taken prisoner by the Russian terrorists a few weeks later and has been in Russian captivity ever since, yesterday he was sentenced to 7 years in prison for being a "mercenary" in a Russian court. How about getting people like that home President Donald J. Trump instead of Russian "opposition" figures trying to help Russia?

He was promised an officer's rank, but in the end, he was appointed a private, and later, it turned out that although his contract was up, no one was going to let him go. Now he complains that he has been accused of absence without official leave, receives only 50-100 rubles a month, and is being sent to the frontline. Evans, 36, call sign "Ivan," said that he had spent two weeks in Russia as a tourist, after which he was offered a job there. The man signed documents written in Russian, not knowing that he was signing a contract to join the army. His phone and passport were taken away, and he was taken to a military camp. He trained there for only a week. After being sent to the front, he escaped and walked for two days to the AFU positions. He was afraid to return to the Russians because they threatened to kill him for refusing to fight. Evans is ready to be exchanged to any country except Russia because, he says, he will die there. BREAKING: Teacher Enoch Burke thrown into prison van and moved suddenly to Castlerea Prison On Sunday morning teacher Enoch Burke was told to gather his belongings and bring them to a prison van. He was then put into the van and brought on a two-and-a-half-hour journey to a new location, Castlerea Prison. At no point was he told where he was being brought, or for what reason. Upon arrival in Castlerea Prison he was consigned to a filthy committal landing. Prison authorities told him he was being given a job “in the kitchen.” Enoch Burke has a job. He is a teacher of German and History at Wilson’s Hospital School. He was taken from that job in 2022 and thrown into a prison cell by corrupt judges after he refused to endorse transgender ideology. His incarceration is an abomination. Enoch Burke’s removal from Mountjoy Prison is a violation of the order of Judge Brian Cregan of 19 January. That order specifically stated that Enoch Burke was to be detained in Mountjoy Prison in Dublin until further order of the High Court: “AND IT IS ORDERED that the Defendant be conveyed by the Commissioner and Members of An Garda Síochána to Mountjoy Prison and that he thereupon be lodged in Mountjoy Prison to be detained therein until he purges his contempt and is discharged pursuant to further Order of this Court”. There has been no further order. Enoch Burke, an innocent man, is now detained in Castlerea Prison without lawful authority. The removal to Castlerea Prison is deeply prejudicial to Enoch Burke as he is now over two hours from the courts where cases relating to his unjust incarceration are ongoing. Today Dr Isaac Burke raised this urgent matter before Judge Brian Cregan in the High Court. Judge Cregan prevaricated and obfuscated in response. He denied any knowledge of the development and showed little interest in the violation by the prison authorities of his own order. It is a dangerous state of affairs when a matter of this importance, the unlawful detention of an innocent man, can be taken so lightly by a High Court Judge.

“I supported Ukraine. They wanted to beat me,” says Oleh, recalling the Russian school where he was bullied every day for loving his homeland. He’s 9. Three years ago, he ended up under occupation. And like thousands of other children, he became a hostage of propaganda. ⠀ Before the war, Oleh lived in eastern Ukraine with his big family. But on February 24, 2022, everything changed. “It was terrifying. Helicopters flew so low, we thought they’d blow the roof off,” recalls his mother Tetiana. ⠀ Later, the family — like many others — was offered a place in a “recovery camp” in Russia. The promised 20 days turned into three months of forced deportation. ⠀ His parents couldn’t wait any longer to get their son back. Taking a huge risk, they drove into Russia in a car with Ukrainian license plates to pick him up themselves. But there was no way back. ⠀ The family had to stay in Russia and enroll Oleh in a local school. But instead of safety, the boy faced bullying and abuse — from classmates and teachers — just because he was Ukrainian. He was forced to sing the Russian anthem, hold portraits of Russian soldiers, and constantly hear that Ukraine was weak. “They told me I was worthless. That Ukraine was bad. But I still believed in it,” Oleh says. ⠀ Their home in Ukraine was destroyed by shelling. But the desire to return home was stronger than fear. Thanks to volunteers, the family managed to escape the enemy state. Now they are safe, and Oleh can finally speak Ukrainian without fear. He smiles and says, “It’s better here.
