Ever seen how the seats rip off in an accident, they don't have crash absorption structures and the seat bracings aren't designed survive a crash. The seat itself is a major source of shrapnel as it tears into many pieces. It's just a mess and @ntsa_kenya does nothing about it

I think body structure is safe, its the fittings in the vehicles that are a source of hazards.
