Fantastic explanation @ColeTU 💪🏽- minor but very important thing: it’s not enough the words are truly random and stored offline. They must also be generated offline. If this set of very secure words ever touch a internet conn. device they are useless. Use dice ware for instance.

if I am right. 24 words is 2048^24 combinations? 2^256 = 1,16 x10^77 2048^24 = 2,96 x10^79 2048^12 = 5,45 x10^39 is this mean, that 24 words are safer than 256 bit code? 24 words have more combinations.

@JPetrzalek The 24th word is a checksum, which makes it less than 2.96 x 10^79
