True, but her design is a bit confusing in terms of the character itself. I mean, a bee is fine, and honey is something very sweet and widely consumed, but why a kind of fox?

asmodeus has a rooster motif as in demonology he’s often depicted with rooster legs. he still slightly represents his race as he’s depicted as being very alluring and sensual like the succubi are

Not a single thing about her sells "gluttony", it's like her whole look was sorely based off the "Bee" part of "Beelzebub", which is so lazy considering how cool a design based off gluttony itself could be.

Exactly! Honestly I did think the whole disliking the design because "she's not fat" just shows how uncreative the people criticizing it are being. Rather than appearing gluttonous, she is one who provides circumstances for gluttony.

I think many people want the show to be completely accurate to the Bible (or can't accept that while the story uses settings from the Bible it's still trying to be its own thing) and get mad when it isn't what they know from it

I don't know HOW MANY TIME I have to point this out. Before the 19th century Beelzebub was shown in a variety of forms. The insectoid thing comes from a mistranslation of Bee being the head (Lord) of Hell's knightly Order of the Flies.

The song literally talks about feeding; in the series, she is seen serving food and drinks, and the dogs are even eating the cotton candy that rains down on them. All that was missing was for her to say, "I am the sin of gluttony, by the way."

She’s literally kicking out blitz because he’s being too gluttonous. she’s not the embodiment of gluttony at all

Because she's designed like that because Viv made a Kesha AMV when she was a teenager with the character Kesha voices looking similar.

I swear people just tweet this stuff out because its trendy to hate Viv and the shows. Queen Bee is such a wonderful character and her design was carefully thought out and has a lot of history! She is so endearing!

When I listened that song I was confused, "How can cotton candy get stuck between your teeths?" So I buy cotton candy and made a little experiment. Eating it in the normal way doesn't makes it get stuck, BUT if you take a lot of it, make it a ball and eat it it can get stuck.

Here’s the thing, she does have a great design, but not for a demon of gluttony. The main reason I say that is because she has a lot of bee motifs, but gluttony is associated with flies, with the name beelzebub literally meaning “lord of the flies”.

Mammon is probably the only sin we've seen so far that is pretty selfish. There isn't really a positive spin on greed for him and it can be done.

She doesn’t LOOK like a bee, she doesn’t look like she represents gluttony either. Gluttony is supposed to be about the dangers of excess and none of this comes through in her design.
