@MaxfieldOnBanks Hey Maxfieldoncoke. From what I recall, silver gate didn't do adequate KYC and was serving as an on-ramp for laundering money into crypto. Me thinks regulators did their job by shutting it down.

President Trump Confirms He Hopes To Sign The Clarity Act (crypto regulation) very soon. Will Clarity Get Passed In 2026? Coinbase's CEO Brian Armstrong came out recently against the bill trying to stop it. He wants Coinbase to be able to do what banks do, but without all of the banking regulations. I am sort of torn on this issue. Banks are regulated for a reason, having bank failures is usually a disaster for the economy. While more competition is good, financial companies holding deposits and taking too much risk is not acceptable.

Titanic survivor Frank Prentice describes how he jumped off the stern to survive. Frank Winnold Prentice (February 17, 1889 - May 30, 1982) was a storekeeper on the RMS Titanic. He survived the sinking by swimming to Lifeboat 4 and being pulled in by its occupants. Prentice remained active at sea, working on the Titanic's sister ship RMS Olympic, and also worked on ships during World War 1. In his later life, Prentice gave many interviews for television (here in 1979), newspapers, and magazines. In 1982, he appeared in a documentary called "Titanic: A Question of Murder." He was the second-to-last member of the crew to pass away, being survived only by Sidney Edward Daniels.
