Seeing potential problems ahead of time and turning them into strengths is a rare skill. Especially at the government level, this has to be one of the first times I've seen it 😆

Amazing, amazing, amazing what Singapore is doing. Subsidy for pursuing education to battle against potential loss of jobs. US needs to push these kinds of policies forward, but will our government do so? Probably not.

US politicians don't give a flying fk about their citizens.

Great concept, horrible approach IMHO. Subsidizing higher education for people 40 and over won’t give them the tools and techniques they need for the rapid pace of change we see in the world today.

But why? I think when you mix young and creative with old and experienced, that's where things would get interesting. It might not be successful but a good first investment in education makes sense.
