I don't think this is safe. It will just be that glue and the tire & road pressure against your life! I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Used to be a factory in central NC that did retreads like that. They call it recapping now. No thanks.

That's really interesting! Repurposing is such a smart way to make the most out of resources.

We do that on truck tires in the US. It's why you always see tire treads on the side of the highway.

in brazil we do this. its amazingly DANGEROUS specially for car and bikes travelling alongside with these trucks
