How Spain EXPLOITED Messi 🧠⚽️ Created using The Tactics App

@TheTacticsApp It’s interesting to see this cause it shows that while Argentina is on Defense they basically play 10vs11, while on offense it feels like 11.5 vs 11 cause Messi is a genius. So Spain - as the best possession team in the world - was the obvious cryptonite.

@TheTacticsApp Need CBs that can bring up the ball for this. Spain has 11 that can be on the ball comfortably.

@TheTacticsApp So are you trying to say Messi was useless during the day ?

@TheTacticsApp nice visual, shows Spain's fluid rotation dragging Messi into gaps

@TheTacticsApp La cabeza de Messi va mas allá de este análisis, cuando hicieron eso, él la vio y la desbloqueo. No subestimen. Esto fue algo más Messi's mindset goes beyond this stupid analysis. When they did that, he saw it and unlocked it. Don't underestimate him. This was something more.
