How the entire heathcare system is broken

I grew up with a great doctor. Dr Lord would show up at our house with his black bag, light a cigarette, and proceed to check each one of us. Or you could go to his house, and wait in queue. 100% of the time you were healed. He treated everyone, regardless if they could pay him

⚖️ Ignorance, Empathy, & Prosecutorial Overreach in Medicare Fraud Good intentions aren’t always enough. Confusing Medicare rules can trap kindhearted doctors, leading to life-altering consequences. Why do doctors risk it, and can the system be improved?

I pay more and more in health insurance premiums each year, but get less and less healthcare services. The healthcare services that are available have copays raised to a point of unaffordability. It's true that the healthcare system is broken, but people have direct interaction with health insurance companies. I'm not surprised that many support the assassin.

Excellent breakdown and poignant analysis on how healthcare is broken. In your opinion, what changes could be made that have an impact at scale without negatively affecting short term patient care outcomes (would love to hear about it in another video or read on substack)? I also appreciate your take on recalibrating the focus of med school back to the fundamentals of practicing evidence based medicine. Thanks for being forward facing on these topics.

Healthcare is not a human right I have no right to your labor

Why I’m excited about @RobertKennedyJr to be honest.

Outstanding video. Spot dig at Bluesky.

The system is “broken” by default. It cannot grasp individual needs and circumstances of the individuals on the ground or course correct as needed. Therefore it subverts individual needs and judgment by definition and is therefore almost entirely a wasteful and futile endeavor. No amount of so-called reforms will ever change that.

I love your work. I have watched you on YouTube for years. However, I can no longer repost your messages. Sad.
