Easy. A) it’s the keeper. B) it’s that unwritten rule that contact after the play in the box by a defensive player doesn’t equal a foul. Never said those are correct reasoning…but it’s somehow the logic they apply.

Tim Howard was pretty adamant that he didn't think so....... Anywhere else on the pitch that level of contact would be a whistle. Wonder what the VAR officials were thinking....

Reminds me of the play in the 2014 World Cup final where Neuer took out Higuain on a blatant penalty, but it is not called. Germany went on to win the WC.
