The Matrix cast martial arts practice. “…sometimes Keanu requests a practice on Sunday.”

Agent Smith is a former Agent of the Matrix. After being initially destroyed by Neo, he became an Exile and manifested as a computer virus with the uncanny ability to copy himself over the minds of Bluepills, Redpills and programs alike. He is the main antagonist of the first three The Matrix films before being resurrected by The Analyst in the The Matrix Resurrections. No The resurrected Smith carries strong resentment towards The Analyst and, upon recovery of his memories, pragmatically chooses to let both Neo and Trinity live in favor of prioritizing the downfall of The Analyst. Smith was an Agent of the system and, like other Agents, had the role to police and maintain the Matrix by eliminating potential threats to the stability of the system, which were mostly seen to be Redpills and defunct programs. Lol Agent Smith was personified as stern, serious, and nearly invincible. He was also notably stronger and faster than the other Agents. At some point in the past he encountered and was defeated by Seraph. He later described chasing him as "chasing a ghost."

Those mannequins looking very real 😅

Such an iconic series...

The Matrix - Rooftop Behind The Scenes

Will Smith was the Original one Will Smith was the freshest prince in the 90s, so the Wachowskis wanted him for Neo. The offer came when Smith wanted a breakaway from alien-related films. But Smith didn’t take the role because he didn’t understand the pitch from the Wachowski Maybe that’s why they named the villain Agent Smith.

I wonder which would cost more in 2023: producing a fully CG version of this scene, or paying all the actors, costume crew, makeup artists, etc. (I’m guessing most big-budget films would do CG-only for convenience’s sake.)

The Matrix is a GOATed movie

The main actors, Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Laurence Fishburne, underwent months of intensive kung fu training in preparation for their roles. “The Matrix” was a box office success, grossing over $460 million worldwide. It also won four Academy Awards, including Best Film Editing and Best Visual Effects.
