1995 democrats would be labeled far right today, even by 2010 standards they were "conservative", the ultra woke mob hijacked that once moral party

30 years ago, the parties disagreed, but they both loved America. Now, the Democrats hate America and want it destroyed. This is not hyperbole.

I was a moderate left during 80s and 90s. I was a registered Democrat. Now my position is far right per my daughter. I don’t think I changed. The Democrats moved to the too far left.

@TheDemocrats and Democratic Voters were more Moderate and Conservative during Former President Clinton terms. The switch started during Former President Obama terms creating more Progressive, Marxist, and Democratic Socialists. @POTUS @realDonaldTrump ran to change all that.

Perfect example of how far left the Left has shifted. Trump, for most of his life, has been considered a classic NYC Democrat, and hence, why he sounds similar to them from 20+ years ago. Same can be said for the other former Democrats now in charge of the Republican party.

Clinton: secure the border. Obama: record deportations. Biden: continued removals. No meltdown. Trump: secure the border. Now it’s framed as radical. These videos show the Democratic Party once spoke very differently on immigration. The question isn’t whether enforcement exists. That's because they are ok with lip service. They were all playing the game. They were clapping for the bigger budget because they could launder more tax dollars. By no means were they ever serious about actually enforcing the border and immigration laws!

Clinton´s speech was applauded by democrats for much more than just because he was a democrat-- it was primarily because in those years the democrats still had the vast majority of the Black Community votes and continued to have it pretty much locked and guaranteed (or so they thought) up until the 2016 election which started to show slippage, the 2020 election confirmed it and it was too much so they opened the borders to replace that vote and those voters and 2024 demonstrated that their lies and ignoring of the Black Community finally generated a massive loss on which their entire power and control plan for getting back into power and staying there so they have no choice but to oppose any policy that would reduce the illegals and most of all any policy or legislation that would keep them from legally voting in US elections.

The whole "nation of immigrants" is still a leftist talking point to this day. In reality we were a nation of settlers, builders and explorers. Immigrants came later and they were almost exclusively Christian Europeans that did not get any handouts or welfare, much different now.

I bet @BernieSanders was there crying about oligarchy and healthcare.

At some point, Dems figured out that illegal aliens vote for them much more frequently. At that point the gates were open. They are ruining this country.

If some Democrats in Congress who aren't extreme would stand up, declare themselves moderates, and explain what makes them different from that un-American viewpoint, America would thank them. It is sad to see this level of disconnect. It screams we want to rule the people but not be part of the people. You can't be a Christian and not look for common ways to show your respect for goodness when it is shown, regardless of who you are loyal to professionally. Why is no one addressing the big change from what Clinton is sharing here? Who is humble enough to say why they think this is no longer the way for the Democratic Party?

Half the population has forgotten what it means to be a sovereign country with borders and laws.
