How to animate a lightning bolt in #procreate ⚡️

There's randomly tons of extra frames added here that you didn't draw unless there's some kind of process extrapolating things I'm not aware of? It doesn't look like additive effects but I don't know.

not tons but yes, the final animation consists of 17 frames. I just cut all the routine process. Unfortunately Procreate doesn't have any interpolation features, so all of the frames were made by the hand ✍️

Watching these videos makes me realize I only use 10% of procreates functions

That looks dangerously close to Alex Redfish’s lightning tutorial… atleast he actually shows how he does it, instead of leaving all the important steps out.

I don't have any commitment to learning animation but this sort of thing is always so satisfying and interesting to watch.
