How To Be Successful In Life.
24 条评论

the older i get the more this seems like an empty platitude that works only for for a lucky few in a growing economy

You being yourself and doing what you love is how you stick to a thing and it also acts a natural differentiator in business. Heard Sam Ovens talk about this recently, and it really stuck out to me. Being different to avoid becoming a commodity in business is really important to become successful. It's a win-win creating a product based on who you are and what you love. You love the work and you become different.

There are many things we can do in life. But the one that matters most is discerning God’s will in our lives

That’s the worst advice I have ever heard

For success you need love (and luck to love something useful).

Basically the whole onlyfans is based on these 2 words

And the great thing about this is that every person has a unique story. So when you do what you love and stick to it, there’s almost no chance anyone can imitate you.

Great.....

That's level 100. I am maybe at 5.

Success usually comes from showing up consistently, learning relentlessly, and refusing to settle for easy answers.

Naval is a champ.

“You escape competition through authenticity ”🔥

Such a brilliant perspective, Thank you.

Unfortunately we still need people to do dirt, monotonous, and unpleasant jobs. Who is going to reach a state of flow as a sanitation worker?

"The more you do things that are natural to you, the less competition you have" So simple, so true! 🙂

What works for Naval may not work for you. Gain skills that you can use to make a living. Selling "doing what you love" is telling people to be influencers. Can't all be youtubers and tik tokkers. Maybe in context it makes more sense. Love what you do, don't do what you love.

i can listen to this man for hours.

Absolutely. If you can identify at least 2-3 things that you experience as being in a state of flow, you must find a way to productise them.

Will re-listen to this pod again It's a gem Chris

Is this from your podcast?

39 and I still have no idea what this could possibly be. 🤷♂️
