@jewinthecity If the Jewish and Muslim world can come together in peace then the Middle East would finally be the beacon of light in the world and major advancement of society would take place. Arab oil money + Israeli technology would be 🤯 unlimited possibilities

@jewinthecity Really interesting story. And enlightening about just being authentically good towards strangers, as impressions last. The water. 😂 I wish this Earth held many more people like you!

@jewinthecity When I was in my 20s I used to say: اللهم عليك باليهود ومن هاودهم Which translates to: O God destroy Jews and their allies that is worse than the water 😁 I know how those haters think, fueled with hate, they have zero knowledge in Judaism or the Torah. Time they change!

@jewinthecity God bless you. I am a Jew. You are Muslim. We are cousins, and today I'd say we are more like brothers. God bless you.

@jewinthecity So admirable. Do you think your path can somehow be reproduced on a mass scale? I used to be part of something called the “Cousins’ Club” where Arabs and Jews came together, but it eventually petered out for some reason.

Dear Arabs and Muslims, I just back from Israel, and my life will never be the same. I thought I was going to be met with pure racism, and then came to see that half of Israelis look just like me. I thought I was going to be treated as a terrorist, but I was met with kindness and hospitality. I thought I was going to experience apartheid, but I saw people from different backgrounds co-existing in peace together. I thought I was going to see hatred against Muslims, but I met dozens of Muslims who love Israel and are proud of their country. I thought I was going to meet angry Jews who hate all the goys and want to manipulate them, but I was met by a kind people who are struck by grief and terror. Every street I visited in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv has a story of a terror attack. In every cafe I sat in, I was told ”A Jew was stabbed right here”, and ” A shooting happened on the other side of this street a few months ago.” Throughout this trip, I have been ex-communicated by close-minded friends and family members. But you know what? It was worth it. Because I got to see Israel and experience the truth about the country that I was indoctrinated to hate for myself. I wish that my friends and family members would also be able to visit Israel and see the beauty and hospitality of the country like I did. I was able to swiftly visit Israel because of my Swedish passport – I won’t deny my privileges. But I also have the elusive privilege of humanizing both Israelis and Arabs. I had the greatest privilege of meeting, and seeing and talking to Israelis, whom I had learned to hate since I was a child. I am so happy to have cleansed the hatred out of my soul. I wish that the Muslim and Arab communities could do the same. Nothing good can ever come out of hatred, violence, and terrorism. And now, having been in Israel, I cannot stress enough how much it saddens me that my culture and my people have learned to hate this country and these people. To all the Israelis who have opened their hearts and homes to me and showed me their beautiful country - thank you.

For 20 years in Yemen, I was told that Israel was my enemy—the most devilish country in the world. That’s why I have decided to visit Israel for the first time next week. It’s time for me to go there and see for myself. To listen, learn, and understand. I want to meet ”the devil” with my own eyes. I want to see for myself the supposed discrimination and hatred towards Arabs and Muslims in Israel that I keep hearing about. I want to speak to the country my culture taught me to hate. It pains me to know that many friends and even family members will ex-communicate me for this. To them, believing that Israel has the right to exist, or even worse, visiting Israel, is some covert hatred towards Arabs and Muslims. They couldn’t be more wrong. I believe that Israel has the right to exist because of how we, Arabs, have treated our Jews for centuries. Many people spread an ignorant and false narrative about Israel being "a white colonial state," when more than half of the people in Israel are non-white Jews. Yemeni Jews, Iraqi Jews, Turkish Jews, Ethiopian Jews, etc. The fact that every Arab Jew fled to Israel says more about us and our hostility towards our Jews than it says about them. I wish that the Yemeni Jews stayed in Yemen. But they didn't. Because we failed them. Because we hated, persecuted, tortured, and killed them for centuries. And that's why they ran away. I look forward to visiting the Yemeni Jewish community in Israel. I want to hear their stories about Yemen. How they feel about living in Israel, why they had to flee. How they feel about Yemen attacking Israel, their thoughts on Israel and the settlements. I also feel an urge to apologize to them on behalf of Yemen. Apologizing to them for having failed them... The content that I will be making in Israel will look different from what I have been making. I never thought I would be saying these words, but Israel... here I come.

A Muslim born in India, I am wearing today a hoodie I got in a Palestinian second-hand store (yes) outside Bethlehem. It says simply: Israel Defense Forces. As a member of the Muslim Reform Movement with Muslims M. Zuhdi Jasser Raheel Raza Soraya M. Deen, MA and as a member of the Clarity Coalition with ex-Muslims like Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Yasmine Mohammed 🦋 ياسمين محمد, I made this video to explain clearly: the war on Israel is not only a political problem. It is a theological problem fueled by ideologues who hate Jews and the state of Israel. We oppose those ideologies at MuslimReformMovemnt and CLARITyCoalition. When my friend Danny Pearl was slaughtered in 2002 with his identity as a Jew and a grandson of Israel used to justify his murder, I studied the anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hate preached from the pulpit in our mosques. I read in this video from the Quran the Saudis rewrote to add hate of Jews. The Saudis added the words in parentheses (___) to the first chapter of the Quran to make it express hate of Jews, so it reads: “Guide is to the Straight Way. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews)…” The Saudis added “(such as the Jews).” That is the hate promulgated for decades by the Saudis and promulgated today by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, the government of Iran and THE GOVERNMENT OF QATAR. Yes I’m shouting. That’s Qatar that hosted the World Cup. That pumps out propaganda against Israel through its war propaganda machine: Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera is now posting videos celebrating the war against Israel and civilians, Elon Musk. I lost my friend Danny to this hate. It’s 21 years later. That hate is not erased yet. I extend my love today to my friends Judea Pearl Orli Peter and so many whose families and friends are engulfed in war. Let’s be honest and defeat hate and the messengers of hate so we create real and lasting peace in the sacred land of Israel. 🕊️

.David Sacks: "You're gonna see in the wake of this is that a lot of Jewish people are realizing that they don't have a home on the left anymore. And I expect that many Jews are going to start shifting right into the Republican Party, to a place where I've been for a while.... But I think what's happened over the last few decades is that the civil rights movement, in particular, and the left have moved to this woke ideology where it's no longer about colorblindness. It's more about identity groups. And instead of trying to get past racial differences, it's been about accentuating them. And so we've had this whole equity agenda, which is really defined as redistribution from one racial group to another racial group. I think that, for whatever reason, a lot of Jews just hadn't confronted the reality that the left had really changed in this way. I think it goes back to the fact that they thought if we're going to be defining identity groups in this woke way, Jews obviously should be one of these victim groups, but they're waking up to the fact that Jews are not. Jews are in the minds of this woke ideology, just white people with a Jewish background. As a result, they're part of an oppressor class. And I think that a lot of Jewish people who are waking up to this are realizing this is actually a very destructive ideology, and it makes us the bad guys. So I would expect that, again, a lot of Jewish people are waking up to how the left has changed... and I would expect there to be kind of a pilgrimage now of more Jews in America towards the right, as opposed to remaining on the left where they've always been."
