I look at the solitary bracts too that are on the node right under the flower. You'll see them turn brown as harvest approaches and when a flower is starting to mold they'll brown too. It's a good outside indicator of what's going on inside the flower.

Low levels of citric acid and clean water with a drop of soap sprayed on mold/white fungus leaves will take care of it if you are on top of it. It's fine on buds..

Couldn’t it be washed in a natural solution like they do making other stuff? Or microwave it to kill it? I wouldn’t waste it! I’m sure after I set it on fire the mold is dead, when meds are impossible to get & tarnished gold is in hand a little mold is the least of a man’s prob.
