No no no. Get the correct tool. A compression fitting and a cable prep tool and do that right. Also cut the center conductor flush with the top of the fitting.

Using the wrong connector first of all, second of all you don’t use a knife to strip the cable and third of all u don’t strip that much of the cable in the first place
