I agree, however there are times where doing it "wrong" is the right thing to do. But that only applies if you are able to do it right. (you have to know how to do it right, before you can do it wrong properly)

There is no wrong way to draw something. Art is never the same

Ok, these are good tips and should be practiced. However, each artist is different. Saying "no" to coloring outside the lines isn't a good thing.

Those are some rigid glasses at the end, I've never seen a frame that isn't at least slightly curved.

A lot of glasses have face form tilt and aren’t completely flat.

Even though these are correct, I gotta say I enjoy the first versions more. Can't say why.
