Parallel lines are lines that are exactly the same as the one opposite of it. It makes you drawing boring, altough there are some cases where you want that. For example a stylistic cartoon show. 2/6

Ahh, this classic trick! I was taught it in art school as "Cal State Cool," where you draw a series of curves on one side, but balance it with one line on the other side to simplify complex forms without sacrificing the line of action. Works everytime!
