That’s a pretty loose. Use of the word perfect. The radius of curvature in a perfect egg changes smoothly as you go around. The radius of curvature of this egg is a step function, changing instant instantaneously at four points. Looks nice, but far from perfect.

This is why I referred CAD in the early 1980s as the “Geometry Calculator”. Back then, the marketeers couldn’t agree if ‘CAD’ was ‘Computer Aided Design’ or ‘Computer Aided Draughting’ (US ‘drafting’). We even had CADD for design *and* draughting. Yes, I knew these procedures for ink on paper technical drawing.

Maybe for an APPROXIMATION of an egg, but those 4 joins will not be smooth. You can even see it here.

Very cool. I learned that decades ago when drafting was all done with pencil, T-square and straight edge. The same principles let you transpose circles to perspectives, and more.
