This may be beneficial only if your Gmail account does not require two-factor verification on your previous device. Today, you can't simply access your Gmail on a new device without using your old phone mostly.

This does not work. Both require Pins to be sent to the phone you just had stolen. That is how it used to work. Your phone is gone and you are not tracking it anywhere unless you have another device currently signed into it.

1) You don't need to use the email route. FIND MY DEVICE have its own app now by Google. 2) It won't work if the stolen phone's data is off, if the location is off or if the phone is turned off entirely.

This can only work if the data connection is on , if not you can’t lock shit…..and for the map….Once your location button is toggled off , otilor Here in Nigeria , only 17% have their location on always
