How to make marriage last

Love your spouse selflessly, as instructed in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." (Ephesians, 5:25, NIV). Likewise, wives are called to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:33).

Sorry but even in praying, my former wife chose to be offensive to me!! More than a few times she actually stopped me in mid prayer to tell me I am praying wrong, which I knew I wasn't. To this day, after the divorce which I suffered many hurtful and physically painful years from living with her, I wonder what creature I married. Nowadays she is reading and listening to much dark stuff such as reincarnation etc and is the sort of person who is automatically drawn to people of her own dark skin and automatically shuns anyone white. Don't get me started on her disavowal of everything Jewish. Several times in the marriage, she openly accused me and my family as being Racists! I smiled and reminded her that if I was racist then why would I marry her? It's no wonder why she has so very few friends and when we were married many people would come up to me asking me why she behaved so offensive and so standoff and aloof as if she was better than everyone else. She got some major mental malfunction going on but it's not my job to fix her.
