The Bible emphasizes the importance of the mind in knowing God and His will. Passages that speak of "renewing your mind" or having the "mind of Christ" refer to the transformation of a person's thinking and worldview. When the mind is corrupted... It ascends to a reprobate state. Romans 1:28 "As they reprobated the knowledge of God, so He gave them up to a reprobate mind."
