Today I learned I am absolutely amazing at all Russian pronunciations...... So long as they're hockey players I already know - which is basically this whole list. My knowledge of the language takes a nose dive for anything that is not on this list.

Thank you for this! Is Russian pronunciation very consistent? Like, do the letters always have the same pronunciation regardless of what's surrounding it? Unlike English where the g in golf and gym sound different

Basically, the pronunciation is always spelled the way it is read. There is no such thing in the Russian language that one letter is pronounced differently. Sometimes you just hear A instead of O. But that's a matter of pronunciation 😁 So it's a rare exception.
