How to properly clean a Glock

You're going to get fluid in the striker channel and it won't fire. Just lube it every 1,000 rounds and clean it once every 10,000.

Yeah no that’s not how it’s done

The first 5 seconds show more cleaning than my glock will ever get.

That half assed job would never pass inspection.

Not properly at all, the barrel bores needs to be cleaned by the brush and cloth.

Who did you steal the video from?

You used enough CLP for 10 Glocks. And made quite the mess.

So dude really went to town with the spray. I’m usually a lot more conservative and use like an old toothbrush, but man that looks way easier just to spray the fuck out of it. Did a lot of you guys use a lot of spray like that?

This is not how you properly clean any firearm. Get yourself some rods, a punch, pads, wire brushes and dental pics to start…. Hoppies to eat the crud. Scrub. Patch bore. Gun scrubber to spray out the gunk & dry extra oils. Lube with miltech.

Wait, you guys clean your Glocks?

Glock has 4 pieces. It’s not rocket science 🤣

You clean em?

So we just not even gonna give me credit for stealing my video off Facebook?

You don’t need to clean it at all until 10-20k rounds. Waste of time

dawn powerwash and a brush in the bathroom sink.

Every time I see someone spray "anything" that WILL drip into the back of the slide I feel sick. 90% of those sprays WILL damage plastic.....there are a few plastic things in the slide (#5) and ALL are critical for normal functioning.... Use a brush and some cotton swabs. ALL

I enjoy watching the variations of how folks clean. While I don’t get out the picks, scrubbers, etc. - I grew up poor and farming. Tools were cleaned after each use and lightly lubed. Guns were tools and treated the same. To my knowledge, in 40+ years of shooting now, I honestly can’t remember damage or any failure incident related to my method of cleaning. I do cringe a little at folks who advocate running mechanical devices with little care. I’d hate to buy a used car or tool from them. Just because a car will run 40,000 miles on the same oil does not mean you should do it. My humble opinion. (Note: I’ve been in the thermal transfer engineering/manufacturing field a long time now. We design and build big things out of metal. Most industries we serve are ‘crater industries’. Our mechanical things have to work. So, I may be biased.)

Best holster for any Glock…

How to clean a Glock: ..

Goon tattoo on forearm lmao.

Hey its BUUUUUUUUUURD!
