These tiles were not installed correctly to begin with. There is not enough adhesion to the tile and too much air trapped. The tile should have been back buttered. There are many videos that use a clear tile to show how it should be done. I'd like to see this tried on a correctly installed tile.

I'll try to find a video of where this same technique was used for wall tiles. The fact remains that when subjected to intense heating the joint gets weaker compared to when not subjected to heat

Wowww! Brilliant. Of course, I don't know anything in this field. But to my untrained eyes, this looks hella smart.

All these tiles guys do the installation wrong. Just by looking at the thinset, i could tell it wasn’t done right. Contractors need to press against the thinset so there is 80% coverage on the tile. This is especially important for floor tiles.
