I would include the tarmac blobs as clutter too How companies are allowed to leave them behind rather than reinstating the street is ridiculous

I get the point you’re making. And I think it’s crazy that we haven’t fully pedestrianised this area yet. But we don’t need to ban cars outright to reduce some of the clutter in the city. Lots of poles could still easily be removed. So many aren’t needed.

Brussels right now, a 2 lane road with about 7 pedestrian crossings in a 200m stretch. No signs. Still waiting for chaos to unfold!

The bikes look more of an eyesore than those signs

Don't you just love the way they dig up the cobblestones and replace it with a patch of tarmacadam. It really adds to the ascetic of the built realm. The kids are in charge and it really shows.

So what, look at all the soyclit lanes and plant buckets that soyclits love cluttering up motorists roads

Hold on second, "level crossing," aren't those for trains & roads intersecting? I know things move fast the days, but isn't that a Zebra crossing?

Streetscape garbage, why do they thinks it's ok to block the footpath with their personal objects.

The reason the bollards are required is because there is no enforcement of traffic or parking laws, so you need to physically prevent people from doing it instead.
