Repairing it would be removing the damaged brick and replacing it with a new one, this is just disguising the damage..

That’s fair and I respect that opinion but at the same time it’s a repair on a window. I would assume there’s water getting in. Wouldn’t that be the more important thing to stop happening other than aesthetics
