I've been obsessing over Runway Gen-4.5 this past week. I tested it quite extensively, and I noticed a few things that should be fundamental to any video model: 1. Amazing spatial awareness. It just knows what comes next in the scene and renders it perfectly, with the correct distance, geometry, and style. 2. It understands the space and time. For example, how a character interacts with the environment, even if you don't prompt for it: High altitude > Windy. 3. This spatial sense of motion and place makes it look natural and cinematic. Regarding this last point, I've said it many times here on X that Runway needs to get out of the slow-motion era, and in the end, they delivered massively on it. It's just beautiful to watch scenes come to life naturally. Now, we just need sound and 1080p. Cristóbal Valenzuela take your time, we're here.

this is that zack d films animation style everyone knows i've been recreating it for my own ads and nobody can tell the difference the script is the only thing i write. it builds the scenes, generates every frame, animates them and edits it together takes me 4 minutes and costs about $10 an animator would have quoted me $300 and a week for one of these it's harder than it looks because the models have no idea what this style is, so prompting for it gets you nowhere i've run it to death now and worked out the exact setup that gets them coming back right barely seeing anyone else make these yet rt + comment "ZACK" and i'll send you the whole workflow (gotta be following so i can dm)

So Seedance 2.0 Omni’s biggest breakthrough might be lip sync and dialogue. It lets you upload audio and sync it to characters, even multiple characters within the same scene. So we ran tests against the leading lip sync tool, HeyGen, and the results were surprising. Seedance Omni held up well, especially in wide cinematic shots and multi-character scenes. The results can still feel a bit unnatural at times, though they improve with iteration. HeyGen continues to perform better for upfront avatar-style lip sync. Still, the fact that we now have a lip sync tool within a video model that can directly compete with HeyGen is real progress.
