This is not sound advice, given that you are signing a lot of info at the time of admission/prior to the visit, providing them with and asking them to run this through your insurance.. After they do, and your insurance applies any portion of the balance toward your yearly deductible/out-of-pocket, your generally on the hook for whatever the insurance can legally apply toward your portion of the costs… You would need to negotiate with the facility on THE FRONT END, in order to gauge whether it’s best to run your insurance, or pay “cash” based on any discounts they can offer to cash payers
