The issue is the whole point was for it to be a surprise. By asking, you remove the surprise, the entire point. Also the pin isn't touching you. But your idea is cool.

Honestly don’t understand what the problem is, I think it’s just a bit of harmless fun. I got flea’d multiple times at NFC and I just thought it was funny. And now I have a collection of pegs. lol

I like the fun of getting flea'd but also totally understand someone not wanting to be touched. It's why I think making it into a trade can make it more fun. Imagine walking the con and seeing a suiter with TONS of different styled ones. I think that's how this evolve. (1/2)

Just make the lanyards on badges based on color. if X color then don't do it. If it's Y color then its free game.
