Just because someone sets up a meeting does not mean you have to attend. You need to prioritize and discern when it’s required. I skip probably over 50% of meetings to which I’m invited. The ability to set up a meeting gives people a false sense of power over others.

most have not adjusted to the sage advise here, middle management loves to find a space where they can thrive on these points. As AI gets better I'm quite interested in how these positions weight. I keep seeing founders increasingly not want the things outlined here.

Anything aside daily standup is distraction to me. What time is left for me to code if it's meeting upon meeting. They could as well send an email with the update.

Seems like a good video, but I couldn't watch it - too busy making urgent updates to my self assessment highlights that I had to urgently make a few weeks back, based on the full self assessment that I had to urgently finish in November #busywork
