Nigerian Canada Association repping here. Even passport intervention - zero. Last time, I spent over $2k for flight, hotel and car rental, just to renew my passport. But they collect dues from members. Only to host party & meaningless events, snap picture - that's all.

So Nigerians in diaspora sef no get sense? This man should mobilize and lead a movement against the association and create a new governing body. I know that is not easy but many many talk to be solution. It’s great that he’s been able to spread awareness, na action remain.

I agree with him, unfortunately. My church has a Nigerian Asso., we raise money to fund projects in Nigeria, we host parties & picnics. That's it. Once I asked why we didn't have a list of members' businesses so we can patronise ourselves. Radio silence.
