🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

it's been more than 10 years, right? since I was 14 to be exact. it's been more than 13 years now. during those 13 years with mark hyung I relied on him so much and learned a lot from him. when I was shaken or unsteady he kept me from falling apart. I've rarely let the members see me cry other than at concerts or performances, but there were times when I've called him over the phone while in tears. to me he's always been more than just a member. even though he's the youngest in his family and I'm the eldest in mine, to me, he really was my hyung ... truly. because he was more of a hyung than any other hyung, I depended on him a lot over those 13 years. I think that's why a lot of people were worried for me, since they know how much I relied on him, so I'm really really grateful.

Watching this clip actually made me feel a lot better. Even though #JAMES was crying and trying to hold back his tears, I really think they were tears of happiness. The way he looked out at the fans and smiled… I could really feel how happy and touched he was, and how grateful he was for all the love he was getting. Honestly, just seeing that is enough for me. No matter what was going through his mind at that moment, I just want him to know that so many people love him and are always there cheering him on. I just want him to be happy and have nothing but good things come his way. And even when things get tough, I hope he’ll always have the strength to get through them.
