I grew up in Cook County… Leaving Illinois at 18 was the best decision I’ve made in my entire life, hands-down.

C(r)ook County has the worst political machine in Illinois. Michael Madigan ensured that, and his legacy remains even after he left the ILGA. He lost the speakership for one term, so then he made sure that would never happen again.
