How was Jared Goff's backwards pass ruled a forward pass?! #Lions | #Saints
14 Comments

Why can’t you bring this up on espn? We been waiting for somebody to high light this bullshit

There is a reason no one knew the rule it is virtually never been applied like that. They are just covering their ass, it’s pathetic.

That fake ass rule is not correct

Some Lions fans have been so insufferable with pulling up a screenshot or link of the rule, like yall knew about it before the game. Yall would be heated if the roles were reversed. Also, why does Goff need to be involved with the Saints getting robbed

FFS now SVP is illiterate too?? (Pereira fucked up bringing intent into it.) Anyone else who STILL doesn’t understand go here

Still ridiculous the refs called this.

It’s, logically, a dumb rule. Terrible rule. Makes zero sense

More and more of us now realize these games are rigged and scripted. Come clean and admit you know it too, you’ll feel better.

Please check the “low block” call on the Saints in the following drive on Quincy Riley… the league said “oh yea? Hate that call? Well let’s rub it in their face”. League is unwatchable as a Saints fan, but the community I can’t leave behind

No one will ever know, so can we just let this go?

Someone needs to get Hillary to Clinton Godell

The rule is about intentional grounding. It is objectively the wrong call. Goff never began a forward throwing motion, therefor the rule they are citing isn't applicable. This isn't complicated, the NFL just refuses to admit any mistake.

What else is new?

Between this egregious call and the WMU hosing what are we doing?
