Sometimes, the most powerful moves are the simplest 🤷‍♂️ When I first joined the Wales squad, Gary Speed gathered us together and told us we came from different backgrounds, but when we wore that shirt, we were one team. So one thing we all needed to do was sing the national anthem. Together, with passion 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 The truth? Many of us didn’t even know the words at the time (myself included)… I remember sitting in a hotel room with Neil Taylor, him patiently teaching me line by line until I got it right 😅 But it was about everyone buying into something bigger than themselves. And it worked!! That bond forged resilience and helped us achieve things people didn’t think were possible 😉 Plus, it taught me something that I carry with me today - a great leader finds ways to make EVERYONE feel part of the same mission. jackson saying this was very timely, as youngjae had just talked about the same thing in his interview, how GOT7 once felt unsure of their musical identity 👑 if you look at our map of releasing songs, the first year, the second year, our first album, second album, we tried everything. so, looking back, we were like, ah, we could have done better, like, if we had a branding. if we have a specific thing that we're going at, we should be consistent and... it's like, at the end of the day, it's all products, right? and you want to be, it's like walking into walmart or target. is this a shampoo or is this a body wash or is it a soap or is it a bath salt? we didn't have that. we were just trying a lot of stuff. we're like multivitamins. 👤 do you feel like that limits the group? 👑 no, i just felt like people, when, we always talk about it among members, like, we, when people think of us, specifically for music, what is the genre? or are we like a rubik's cube that we're just everything? but when you're everything, there's good and a bad side where, oh, we see different dynamics and various genres that they could digest and do, but what are they? i think this is one of the things that, I mean, it's not a negative thing that, it's not something that we regret, but it's something that we always talk about. we didn't have, like, a certain color or a tone or a feeling.

Jimin & Jungkook story about their trainees days🤣 🐥: But what’s also funny about the religious thing is that we’re basically going to eat something, right. So we went there, and in the military trainees there are these things like who came in which week, who entered earlier, that kind of hierarchy stuff. But I went with Jungkook. The two of us went there thinking we’d just eat a piece of bread. We got there—honestly, we did want to eat it. But all those shaved-head guys were doing something together. We went to church, and there was this thing where you stand up, dance, and sing. The two of us looked at each other like, “Ah, damn…” We really didn’t want to do it at all. But then a trainee who came in about a week earlier came and said, “Everyone stand up, hurry up,” like that, passing by saying “Hurry up, do it.” And Jungkook was like— “No way.” “Why not?” “Because I don’t want to do it.” 🤣🤣🤣

Soyeon on the name change & new lightstick: It's like a sign of determination to move on to the next chapter. So with this new lightstick… of course we feel a little sad about it too. But since we changed from (G)I-DLE to i-dle, Neverland too, let's all go to the next chapter together. Instead of just saying "it's a shame" about what we did before, if we had stayed as (G)I-DLE, I think I would've thought, "I'd probably have to do something like 'LATATA' again. I'd probably have to do something like 'TOMBOY' again." But because we're i-dle now, it creates new things I can challenge myself with again. So I'm very satisfied with removing the "G" and becoming i-dle. Somehow, we've ended (G)I-DLE… and now that we're i-dle, I thought, "Let's do something new." So this lightstick too, I think it would be nice if you could see it that way. We're taking a new path, so Neverland, let's walk it together in a new way too. Like starting a new chapter with a new heart, let's go again. When you start with a new heart, you end up loving it more, and more new thoughts come. Let's go together like this. If in a few years, as i-dle, or as this Neverbong, we start feeling like it's too hard to know what we should do next, then let's go to the next chapter together. And if a few years later we feel that way again, then let's go to another new chapter together. Let's do that. Until the day we really do trot.

How did you come up with the concept? 🐬 Our performance team gave us a lot of different ideas, like a jungle fairy concept~ 🦊 And animals~ 🐬 Yes, an animal concept, and also a roommate concept. We chose the one that felt more natural~ 🦊 The one that required less… personification. 🎤 Anthropomorphism? 🦊 Yes, exactly! 🎤 Does the identity of being “roommates” hold any special meaning for the two of you? 🐬 When we first debuted, we lived together in the dorm and were roommates as well. So this concept reminds us of all those little moments from when we were younger~ 🎤 What about you, Renjun? 🦊 It brings back memories of all the moments we spent having fun together—like watching movies together, cooking and eating together, and playing games together~
