I don't know how to get people to see who can't see. I've tried for a decade, and while I occasionally have had success, it still always feels near impossible. As stupid as it sounds though, I think avoiding commercials helps. Weird seeming tangent, I know, but having not watched commercials for a good decade now, on anything, it is striking how dystopian they are. When I am at a friend's of family members house and cable is on, and commercials play (my daughter thinks they are cool since she's not seen them her entire life), it is truly dystopian. The amount of messaging in them, socially in particular, becomes so clear when you haven't had your tolerance to them built up every day. Suddenly, many of them legitimately seem insane lol

You are so spot on - I met a woman recently whose daughter is EXACTLY this, radicalized in uni to become “trans” then literally lost her mind as part of tentifada on campus. Split from family, & attempted suicide. Insane.
