How will astronauts perform on the martian surface after a long trip through microgravity? We @NASA_Johnson are finding out. I ran suited tests for baseline data before flight, then will redo tests within a few days of landing from International Space Station later this year.

A fun new hobby of mine is taking the Tesla to different areas to see how FSD performs. A few days ago I drove from Long Island to Atlantic City. FSD did 99% of the driving. The widely anticipated launch of the SpaceX/NASA Crew-10 mission from the Kennedy Space Center has been scrubbed in the last minutes before launch due to a hydraulics issue with the ground equipment. The mission was set to finally allow the return of two astronauts, Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita “Suni” Williams. The two astronauts have been in space at the International Space Station (ISS) for more than nine months after Boeing’s Starliner was deemed too unsafe to bring them home due to issues with the thrusters and was returned to Earth uncrewed. The 1st Tesla Cybercab at the Giga Texas crash testing facility. Hard to say for sure, but this may indicate the vehicle has completed most of the final engineering & production tests out at Fremont and what remains is now at Giga Texas. If this follows how the Cybertruck proceeded, we are likely a month or two before we will see initial test runs of what will be the production version. This matches up with all the equipment deliveries and installation inside the factory that we have been monitoring over the past few months. Cybercab is getting close to existing IRL!

Dexter won on: • speed (by 92%) • cost (by 26%) • correctness (by 31%) I use Claude Code often, so this was fun to see. A key challenge for CC is that it relies on web search for financial data. Most of what it finds comes from news sites, blogs, and other secondary sources. Dexter uses primary source data from Financial Datasets, so the performance gap makes sense.
