Yes ask them since they just receive bogus salaries and allowances just to sit down and discuss national anthem when there is large scale poverty, insecurity and economic crisis.

Nothing is wrong with the current anthem and I see no sensitive reasons why we should revert to the old tune. It's not even sweet when listening to it.
