🏗️ How would a State Construction Company work? Labour will reshape the housing system by providing a permanent state capacity for the delivery of housing. It will drive down costs while the State absorbs land costs and cut out profit taking. 📹️ Ivana Bacik | #RTEUpfront

@ivanabacik The logo alone would probably cost €250m.

@ivanabacik The state constuction company will need to rent expensive offices in Dublin city centre, at least 50 million euro per year after a 100 million fit out. Builders would be on 34 hour weeks, They will be so happy they will work extra fast. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

@ivanabacik What I saw tonight was the Labour party making a play to be in govt with FF

@ivanabacik Nobody is making a profit on housing. That's why there is a shortage.

@ivanabacik Local authorities had direct labour organisations, i.e., construction companies & all were shut down because unions corrupted them& drove them into the ground & council management didn't know how to manage & didn't care& the costs were horrendous.DCC was one of the worst!

@ivanabacik Just make them civil servants, then everything will be sound

@ivanabacik Champagne socialists always good at spending other people's money. Pray God Lefties do not get into power.

Constantly destroy our environment to build new houses for the billions of surplus humans around the world? That's your plan? Just keep building houses, roads, schools, hospitals, power stations, food production facilities, water purification plants, sewage plants, etc, etc to house the world? Destroy the island of Ireland to give a home to the surplus humans from over breeding nations? Get rid of their burden from overpopulation, allowing them to prosper, will the Irish people suffer under the weight of too many humans? You people are id'ots. @greenparty_ie @fiannafailparty @FineGael @sinnfeinireland @Ogra_SF @MaryLouMcDonald @moneillsf @GerryAdamsSF @GerryKellyMLA @DeclanKearneySF @SimonHarrisTD @MichealMartinTD

@ivanabacik Guaranteed money for this 'company' = fascism Imagine the total waste that would go on here

@ivanabacik Yet you continue to ignore the glaring demand side issue.
