You know a technology is good when you don't even realize you've used it. For this scene, - I created the character as an image with Grok Imagine, then the landscape with Grok, and combined everything using Grok Imagine's image references. - I then used video extensions to avoid cuts and style changes. The character is perfectly integrated into the scene, proportions respected and style preserved.

Co-produced with PAI by Utopai Studios, the first long-form video generation model. The AI video clip era is ending! I started with a short story idea. From there, PAI generated the characters, transformed them into keyframes, and then animated the scenes into a full sequence. The interesting part was seeing how the same characters, environment, and visual style stayed consistent across multiple shots while the story progressed naturally. What felt different here is that I wasn’t building each shot manually. I focused on the narrative, and the engine handled character creation, scene continuity, and animation to produce a ready-to-watch video. Using reference sheets with Omni has now become my favorite method for consistent storytelling with AI so I built a Freepik space that allows you to generate these reference sheets (characters & items) with ease, here you go This method allows you to add a character reference sheet, item reference sheet and a location and combine all elements into a single video with multiple camera angle changes using Kling AI 3.0's Omni feature. Weight painting lips and eyelids has always been a major pain when it comes to character rigging, so our co-founder Vladimir Mokhov spent a couple of weeks and made a tool to automate the entire thing. 🔶 This will be included as part of a toolkit for our upcoming Ultimate Character Rigging course (in Blender) at TOAnimate 4️⃣ The tool uses 4 points on a loop (corners and upper/lower mid points) and breaks it into quadrants, then distributes weights evenly along the points within the quadrants based on the step count, calculating distance between the points. This makes sure that every point is weighted identically and consistently. The weight generation/distribution is done through geometry nodes, and the rest is with python scripting. Been playing with a character consistency workflow again. This came from Nexora that starts with a single GPT Image 2.0 character sheet and turns it into a multi-shot cinematic sequence in Seedance 2.0. One thing I added to the workflow: I first comped the character, environment, and visual style together in Midjourney before bringing everything into GPT Image 2.0 to build the character sheet. I also pushed it a bit further by generating multiple characters, destinations, and art directions at the same time, then turning those into production-style character sheets and shot sequences. It's interesting how much consistency you can get from a single well-defined character board when the visual language, wardrobe, and environment are established upfront.
