How your phone knows exactly where you touch

Interesting! But the music is annoying 🤨

How do you improve this to get multiple touch sensing at the same time like in video games

The music drove me mad before I finished it the video. Now I feel nothing but rage.

Smart phone engineering is Amazing 😲 !

Also I heard we might run out of this material... Industry Response: The electronics industry is actively seeking alternatives to reduce reliance on ITO, including the development of carbon nanotubes, silver nanowires, and new plasma-coated tungsten oxide/silver films.

Technology really does keep getting more precise. It's kinda spooky how well it maps our movements though.

Back gound music annoying

@grok resuma leigamente

We scale it down iteratively, but all are basic EM principles and this is true for topology and quantum computing.

Capacitive grid reading your finger's dielectric heist

👀

how did one even discover this??

Tech's gotten pretty precise. It's a little unnerving how it tracks every tap.

@bidemi_Aj Nice stuff

It doesn't explain how it still works with screen protectors on though.

Efecto capacitivo 👍🏼

Engineering moves the world.
