The move to put President Trump's name on the facade of the Kennedy Center ahead of its renovation was "a prudent decision for the board," Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Thursday when asked why the change isn't being made after the renovation, and argued it serves as an “inducement” to ensure Trump endows the center. "The idea, when you have the greatest philanthropist, the guy who's going to raise you $500 million, you just need him to agree. They have a sixth sense of people’s fears and desires, and they know how to prey on them because they are a predator class. And that’s exactly what Trump and this entire regime is.
