I saw poor quality video clips circulating on some pages on Twitter, most of which were Somali pages and activists, promoting against #Ethiopia, distorting the image of the #African_Union, and insulting Africa with inappropriate language... The truth is that this clip exposes all the promoters of hatred and strife. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻. The issue is not between Ethiopian security, but rather between two delegations from #Congo and #Rwanda due to political differences between their countries regarding the #M23_rebel_movement supported by Rwanda. Ethiopian security does not carry out work in this place, but there is security directly affiliated with the African Union and its ranks include non-Ethiopians as well. And do not be a liar or transmit it, so that your sin does not reach the horizons. More than half a century of Ethiopian experience in hosting the African Union summit and other global summits, no one complained and our guests were not harmed because the Ethiopian people are hospitable and generous and all our successive governments look at the African Union and its guests from the presidents and all the participants with reverence and reverence, and the whole world bears witness and Ethiopia is continuing in We know all those who are running campaigns against Ethiopia and against the #African_Union. What's Happening in Niger? Most Americans do not seem to pay attention to Africa much, but Africa, particularly Niger are huge exporters of important materials and play a crucial role in international politics. So what's going on? - Last week a junta seized power from President Mohamed Bazoumin of Niger and has begun to detain senior politicians. - This is the 7th military takeover of a Central or West African nation in the last 3 years alone. - The European Union, U.S. and African Union have condemned the overthrow of President Mohamed Bazoum. The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have also imposed sanctions on Niger. - France, who receives 15% of their Uranium imports from Niger, has begun to evacuate French and other European nationals from Niger. - ECOWAS is now threatening the use of force if coup leaders do not reinstate President Bazoum within 7 days. - The nations of Mali and Burkina Faso, however, who have also undergone coups in the last few years, are threatening to attack anyone who invades Niger. Guinea has also voiced support for the coup leaders. - This pits multiple countries within Africa at different ends of a possible war, should tensions get out of hand. - To make matters even more interesting, many of the pro-coup individuals in Niger have been waving Russian flags. Russia, however has condemned the actions of the coup-leaders and called on President Bazoum to be released immediately. On the other hand, the Wagner Group and boss Yevgeny Prigozhin have praised the coup-leaders. Things are complicated. It's important to educate yourself on world affairs before tweeting out things as an uneducated person on the matter.
