In the Army, circa 1941
Have just this evening been to a Mavis Staples gig where she gave a big shoutout to Howlin Wolf. Even attempted a “howl”! 😎 #BluesFestByronBay
No Captain Beefheart without Howlin' Wolf ❤️
@HumbleAnthem Awesome!!!!!!!!!
song was used as a viagra commercial. wolf would have laughed.
I spent a good 3 month period in the 90s, where all I listened to was Howlin' Wolf and Albert King. It was a great investment of time.

You never go wrong throwing a Wolf 45 or 78rpm on the turntable!
I can feel a tweet of your ilk, like a train coming around the bend and bringing the voice of Richie Havens to all that follow your fit choices... Cheers! All Aboard!
Of all the iconic interpreters of the Blues, Howlin' Wolf most directly expresses the root of the southern feeling of American blacks; different from city blues, despite always appearing in a suit and tie 🎶🔙
@Baron3121 WOLF!!!
@RobertCrayBand Chester was my favorite bluesman I met him recently after the Howlin Wolf London Sessions album was released. Between sets in a small blues bar venue in Ma.
