Spider-Man has long been known as the strongest of the “superhuman” level heroes. You have to get to god tier power to top him(think Hulk and Thor). The movies(and in fairness even the comics forget a lot) inconsistently nerf him. It’s annoying.

The only Avenger heroes stronger than Spider-Man are Hulk and Thor. The rest only have plot armour strength compared to Spidey.

He's not really fully human anymore. He's not just mildly enhanced, like a super soldier. He's a spider in human form as much as anything else. His power level is just below the really serious heavy hitters.

Comparatively, Spiderman is stronger but MCU plays it according to the movies. You can't really compare them but they will win and loose according to the situation. Hulk is a beast, Thor is a god but they will make them weak according to the situation. So, its the convenience.

While all those are great examples of how strong Spidey is, I always felt that his catch of the Winter Soldier's punch in Civil War was more impressive, partly because it was casual & effortless, but mainly because we already had context for how strong the Winter Soldier was.

Spider-Man is absurdly strong. He has to physically pull his punches or he would kill his opponents. Doc Ock switched bodies with Peter before and realized just how much Peter was holding back by accidentally punching Scorpions Jaw clean off.

Spider's strength is multiplicatively proportional to his size, and he's spend a long time in pulling his punches to the point where its become subconscious to him. If Peter didn't pull his punches, he could have bodied Captain America and The Winter Soldier. Effortlessly.

Frankly speaking you should go back to study Physics becoz the Helicopter was moving so it was much more heavier the 1.2 Tonnes. Also he was himself while Spider took help of his web swings. Also Spider man is more then just a superhuman like Captain America.

He's always been strong as fuck. He just actively holds back cause he's too much of a good guy and his other powers/talkativeness distract the audience from his strength. It's why Mjollnir doesn't consider him worthy.

Proportional strength to a spider

IIRC there was a comic where Doc Ock took over Peter's body. Afterwards he realized real fast that Peter was holding back his punches. Afterwards Doc Ock choice to turn his life around after that humbling.

Regular spiders are strong for their kind now quadruple or even quintuple the size of that of a spider. Spidermans strength scales with his size so thats why hes so strong.

The movies play a little fast and loose with it, but Cap is supposed to be PEAK human strength, not superhuman strength. Spider Man is just superhuman, he’s always been absurdly strong
