Witcher 3! I’m obsessed with it it’s so good! actually, it’s so good in fact they made a standalone game for it and had tournaments and everything. They only just recently (like 2-3 years ago) stopped supporting it unfortunately

How

Set up your low level cards to get swapped by the opponent but leave space to chain attack them back with your best 2/4 cards at the end. You really only need like 3 good stat cards (that have decent arrow distribution) to win through the Treno Tournament. If you win that, you can use cards from that and other enemies to get the trophies and all the other rare card/card battles as well. It’s not as fun as FF8 but it’s still good.

Big downgrade from triple triad if you ask me

My strategy was bringing a weak card with arrows everywhere and use it as bait, then at the last moment I would attack that card with one of the strong ones to create a chain, it's a risk but sometimes you get a perfect, if not just keep improving your best cards xD

how do you know which one is weak? they don’t explain what the letters mean

There is a whole write up about it... It has physical damage/physical defense same with Magic but how it all works no one really knows it feels random at best

Correction Alley Way Jack early in the game all I can say is in order goes Attack power 0-9 type PMF physical/magic/flex. Then the next numbers are defense physical first then magical.

Game uses Hexadecimal so 0-9 is normal but A-F is 10-15 respectively. The First digit is the attack power, second is either P=Physical or M=Magic, 3 and 4 are defenses to P or M...just can't remember which is which. Then its basically be the higher number.

If the arrows face = RNG battle happens If an arrow faces a card's empty spot, it just captures that card for free. Card stats are, vague and... intentionally poorly explained, which makes it best for casual play to just try to get the captures

Easy. Download Moguri Mod and turn it into Triple Triad. Next question.

I just put the highest number/letter against the respective row and it works charms most of the time.

It's vibes based, you go by what feels right even though you don't understand the rules.

With difficulty. I remember reading that each card has an unknown modifier that you can’t see, so even if you play a card that should win, it may just randomly… Not. Bit stupid really, which is a shame as the main game is fantastic. My favourite FF.

The in-game tutorial for this game is a mess, and I never did figure out how to play it. I hate how you have to go through the tournament during the story. And I'm a huge triple triad fan.

Here's a tip that's going to save you a lot of headache and trying to understand the game. There is a random element involved. You can be objectively superior to your opponent and you will usually win but there is factually a random element involved. The rest is just a simple card language of numbers and what number of yours targets what number of the opponent.

It gets clearer as you go, but generally, big numbers equal stronger. The One letter, being M, p, or x is magical, physical, or both. Letters instead of where numbers should be are like psuedo legendary cards theyre so strong. (Continue ->)
