I don't vape, but I do smoke cigarettes. I quit drinking over 7 years ago, and cigarettes help me stay sober. Nicotine, much like caffeine, makes you focused. It doesn't make you sloppy and unfocused like booze. Like Bill W said, cigarettes and coffee are the "lesser evils" and help with sobriety. If you choose to quit vaping that is entirely your call. But I am not convinced that cigarettes are that bad, especially if you strive to be focused and sober.
